Fat Ant Bushings are locally produced in Cape Town and ridden by top riders all around the world…and for good reason. Seeking to improve the quality of his ride the Fat Ant rid himself of his stock bushings and sat down and thought long and hard about what he needed. Consequently he spent hours inside and sacrificed many a skate session to come up with Fat Ant bushings, the result being a low rebound bushing with a precise turn.
The barrel shape causes the urethane to be distributed along the kingpin offering rebound with limited resistance. As the truck pivots through a turn, the contact with the bushing that creates resistance travels up the bushing thus offering the same level of resistance throughout the turn, unlike a cone bushing that focuses the contact and builds up resistance the further the truck leans over. This provides consistent rebound and response throughout a turn making for a more precise ride.
Sold in sets of two.
