Description
The Killswitch is a downhill race and freeride board originally designed by one of the most accomplished and talented downhill skaters, Kevin Reimer. The board has undergone some modifications in 2013. The board has a subtle drop in the front and rear to provide traction and orientation for the rider when bombing.
Three-dimensional wood bending is used in this deck to give a full, cupped feeling for the front and rear toes. This allows the body to lean far away from the board while still maintaining full contact with the front foot.
Sharp Edges – Final touch for locked in feet
Vertically-Laminated Bamboo Core – Stronger than steel, light like a feather
Pre-tensioned fibreglass – Adds long life, durability, strength and energy return.
Twin Shape – Freedom to choose any path or direction.
Sublimated Artwork – Scratch-resistant ink is tattooed into the deck.
Speed-stiff – Don’t get bounced! Stiff boards will make you stable at high speeds.
Linear Drop Platform – Keeps your feet locked into place. Ideal for freeriding.
W-concave – Arch support will dial in your cornering by giving you full contact with the board.
Universal Drop Thru Mounting – Lowers your board for easy pushing and extra stability.
Slim Cave – Small feet need concave too! Outstanding turn control in a narrow profile.
Bee Orange Finish – Smells good, taste great, and seals and protects your board without harmful chemicals.
