The WFB Formula:
The Rip Tide WFB formula bushings are low-rebound, low-friction bushings. These features make for a bushings with a deep turn and a prompt return to center. The WFB bushings have a very precise turn making them suitable for racing and downhill.
The Chubby Shape:
Traditionally known as the stepped barrel, the Chubby shape is the most voluminous of all bushing shapes. The stepped barrel fits snugly around and over the bushing seat and provides much greater resistance when turning, therefore providing much more stability. Normally fitted boardside and paired with a smaller bushing roadside (i.e. barrel, fat cone etc.)
Please note: The equivalent durometer of a Rip Tide bushings to a standard bushings is about 3-5 durometers higher. Thus a 93a Rip Tide bushings would correspond to a 88a conventional bushing.
